Finally, a proper photoshoot with my Mulan costume. I was very excited about this and had an hour of jumping and running.
The costume is made by me. For the clothing I used cotten, for the armour I used foam boards and green flecee for the sash. I got the sword from a local store in Oslo. Photography by

I like how this photo was composed. The viewers perspective is fresh as you are taking this from someone hiding in the grass. It shows her as she was in the show, practicing by herself as not to get caught. Her outfit is well designed and the sword works well with the red tassel. She is in a very dramatic pose and portrays the action quite well.
The fading of the shot going from light to dark is a nice idea. But you end up getting too dark on the right side of the shot where the cosplayer is. Because of this, the cosplayer gets lost in the trees and is hard to fully see. My suggestions would have been to move her to where there is less of a tree line. This way, she is not getting lost in the background.
Overall, I like how this was cropped and the angle is spot on for this action.
I remember you from Desucon! Both me and my friend saw you walk by, and we were like: "OH GOD! LOOK LOOK LOOK! It's Mulan! It is the real live fucking Mulan!" #Impressed.
